THE CONCEPT

Race for Oceans consists of three events:

Race for Oceans consists of three events:

1. SPORT

Divided into 189 different sections, the main event is sport with a possibility to either run, sea kayak, SUP or swim. The distances varies between 1-12 K depending on discipline and section. It is possible to participate both alone or as a group. Each section has room for 2-6 participants depending on the discipline, in order to secure high security for the participants. Each participant in Race for Oceans will be part of one large team, where everyone plays a role in bringing one baton from Sylt to Skagen. The baton will be constantly moving either in the water or on the shore.
Please be aware that safety is first priority. Therefore we will not compromise with the forces of nature and sections with water sports might be cancelled and replaced with running with the baton on the shore.
